Kantanka Cars: 2022 Price List & Specs

Ghana’s first privately owned Automobile Manufacturing and Assembling Company has unveiled a number of vehicles in the past years.

Kantanka Automobile Company launched the cars 3 years ago.

The vehicles are the Kantanka Omana Pickup – a rebadged Foday Lion, Kantanka Onantefuo 4×4 pickup/SUV – a rebadged Foday Explorer 6, with Kantanka K71 small SUV – a rebadged Brilliance Jinbei, Kantanka Amoanimaa, and Kantanka Mensah joining the fleet recently.

Apostle Safo Kantanka started a scientific research institute forty years ago, which he later diversified into the making of cars and named it Kantanka, appellation to the Akan name Safo which translates to mean “the great” in English.

On August 3, 2018, the company opened its first showroom at Achimota near FBN Bank, in the Greater Accra Region. A move that will make the Kantanka product range and technical support services even more accessible to customers.

The showroom currently has 4 models on display with the others joining soon according to the CEO, Kwadwo Safo Jr.

The new showroom opens within the hours from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Below are the prices of the vehicles in the showroom

1. Kantanka Amoanimaa – GHS80,000

A saloon car powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 102 horsepower. A five-speed Automatic Transmission Standard with a handsome dark interior styling fitted with soft-touch surfaces with better front seats and spacious at the back, and a low running costs of 6.4 litres per 100 km fuel consumption.

2. Kantanka K71 – GHS85,000

A luxurious high-performance vehicle with an ultra-modern standard technical features that guarantees the safety, comfort, and the general satisfaction of the customer. The car comes with a driver front airbag, ABS/EBD system, Rear Camera View, the energy absorbing steering column with a unique 1.5 cc engine capacity and a fuel consumption of 5.8litres covering 100km per hour.

3. Kantanka Onantefuo – GHS170,000

Has a comforting and relaxing interiors differentiated with supportive seats with unique layouts, effective climate control system to breeze out your stress. The car has an engine capacity of 2.4 Multi-Point Injector (MPI), with an affordable fuel consumption of 10.3litres covering 100km per hour.

4. Kantanka Mensah – GHS120,000

An automatic saloon car which has 4866mm long body and 2775mm long wheelbase. It has an inductive ease open trunk with trunk size 510 L large. The car offers a 2.4cc engine size with a four-wheel independent suspension system.

Currently, Kantanka can boast of six model of cars which includes saloon cars, pick ups and luxurious 4X4 cars.
